Hello!

My name is Heidi and I am a bookaholic.  By this I mean I like to read books but more importantly I buy too many books.

One of my fears in life...honestly is not getting to finish all the books I have bought because I am afraid I will miss out on a great story I was meant to read.

So let's start this journey.  I like 2 type of books - chick lit and then some mystery/thrillers.  It all depends on the time of year (summer = beach reads, winter = thrillers)...usually.

So here is the start - I went to the book store yesterday as one of my favorite authors had a new book come out and of course I had to get my hands on it the day it arrived to bookstores. Elin Hilderbrand write beach reads that take place mostly on Nantucket.  As a native Bostonian, I like the warmth her books bring me as it takes me back to a place that only has good memories for me. Her new book, "Here's to Us" is my current read.

I just finished my first book by Sarah Morgan, "Sleepless in Manahattan". The book is the first in a trilogy with the second and third books coming out in August 2016 and November 2016 respectively. I was pleasantly surprised by this read. If you like romance books with only a dash of sexual scenes and you love to read about New York City and all its glamour (think Sex and the City), then this is the book for you!

The book takes place in NYC - it starts off as 3 best friends who all moved from their small island hometown to NYC to work in the event planning business. Just when Paige thinks she is getting a promotion she gets fired instead and her 2 best friends get the ax too. Instead of sulking the girls are pushed by Paige's brother and best friend to start their own part planning business. With some high power contacts on their side the girl's business gets up and running but not without a few hiccups along the way - and of course some romance!
